PACKAGE GUARD

Protecting your home deliveries

Package Guard is a frisbee-sized disc that keeps your front porch secure from package theft. It's a connected device to send alerts when your package has actually arrived, but it's also a theft deterrent. It comes equipped with a built -in alarm system—it's not only loud, but it also notifies neighbors that package thief is afoot. The disc senses when a package has been set down, and simply use the Package Guard app (iOS and Android) to quickly disarm the device to pick up your home deliveries.

Place outside your front door

The Package Guard automatically notifies you and your neighbor if you like via app notification, or text when each of your packages have been delivered or removed (hopefully not stolen) from your porch.

Connects to your WiFi

At about the size of a Frisbee, (11.75 in or 30 cm) the Package Guard is a Wi-Fi enabled device that is simple to setup in less than 5 minutes. The Package Guard is battery operated and will last up to 6 months before replacing the batteries.

Keep it simple

Our design tenet with the Package Guard application is to keep it simple as possible. Through testing, the 'picking up packages' interaction gave our users the highest confidence in our app, especially with messaging on how many packages have been delivered and how long it's going to take to automatically re-arm the device.

Keep your deliveries safe

If a package thief (aka “porch pirate”) removes a package or the Package Guard without disarming it with the app, it triggers its loud internal alarm/siren. Also, it can be attached to your porch or an object on your porch.

Stronger through community

The safe circle within the mobile application is a quick and easy way to open up access to family members and close neighbors. The Package Guard notification systems becomes more effective through numbers. More the merrier and safer.
